Michael Vitiello, a professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine, says you can take steps to create better sleep habits. These include creating a routine for to-bed and to-rise times, and optimizing your environment for sleep.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When you\u2019re exploring these changes, you should do one change at a time,&#8221; Vitiello recommends. &#8220;You shouldn\u2019t try and change everything because you don\u2019t know what works and doesn\u2019t.
