067 – December 29 2016
I took a walk around the south end of Athens Village, near the river, during the last snowstorm of 2016 here. It was magically spectacular! Amazing how a blanket of frozen white quietude makes everything look better than ever…While I was out, the snow morphed into rain, and so it cut my walk a bit short. Plus, I found out later, it ended up damaging my cheapie old minidv camcorder, and so i’ve just now been able to get this footage posted, after a desperate search to get a replacement camera – they no longer make these cameras, unfortunately for those of us who have hundreds of minidv tapes! Don’t be conned by the hype, friends, tape is still great! I love the raw quality….
