I work from home so that I can be close to my kids but proximity and presence are two completely different things. My daughter can see me from her playroom so when I’m physically close and mentally gone she doesn’t experience a “busy dad”. She experiences a choice and she’s watching. If you work from home, how do you separate proximity from actual presence?
