Lighting Basics (Working From Home)

*I’ve already been scolded by my wife about the make-up comment.

Lighting is complicated, but this video should make it less so. A few things to think about:

1) Try to eliminate multiple light sources (especially if they are different colours).
2) Try to use soft light (bounce it off walls) or use soft window light
3) If possible, lock the camera’s exposure and focus settings to your face

In other tutorials I’ll be talking about how to jazz up (or jazz down) your background, camera angles and positions and of course, how to capture good audio.
