If you ever get the chance to live outside your home city or country, even for just 6 months, take it.
But here’s the thing — even if you can’t or don’t want to move abroad, setting yourself up to work from anywhere gives you the power to change your work location whenever you want. And honestly, that flexibility alone is a massive win.
According to the Future of Jobs Report, 170 million new jobs are expected to be created globally by 2030 — but 92 million are also at risk of being displaced.
That means now is the best time to stop chasing only low-hanging fruit jobs and start reskilling or learning new in-demand skills that can lead to location freedom, because those skills will no longer limit you to job opportunities in your home country.
