Third Eye Factory: Des Königs neue Kleider / The King’s New Clothes
(teaser for the show from 11.11 to 9.12.2016)

Ein interaktive Adventskalendar. Man kann auf die Sternen-Zahlen von 1 bis 24 klicken. Bei jedem Klick, wenn sich ein Adventskalendartürchen öffnet, hört man eine Frauen- oder Männerstimme die Werbung macht für die wunderschöne Kleider die man zum Weihnachten tragen soll. Hinter den Türchen wird den grünen Hintergrund sichtbar, der am Anfang ein verschwommenes und unerkennbares Bild gibt, das aber immer schärfer wird und am Ende enthüllt wird.

An interactive advent calendar. People can click on the numbers from 1 to 24 to open the small doors. With each click, when the advent calendar door opens, you can hear a female or male voice advertising for gorgeous clothes you should wear for Christmas. Behind the doors a green background becomes gradually visible, at the beginning showing a blurred and unrecognizable image, but slowly becoming more sharply and at the end it is revealed.

Third Eye Factory’s interaktive Installation “Des Königs neue Kleider * The King’s New Clothes” ist vom 11.11 bis 9.12.2016 in Group Global 3000, Berlin, als Teil der Gruppenausstellung “Der Einzelhandel ist mit dem Weihnachtsgeschäft zufrieden”.

Third Eye Factory
A third eye shows that what our first and second eye do not see. The images of the third eye go beyond the boundaries of our normal field of vision, they let us discover a reality which remained hidden before.
In the Third Eye Factory, photographer Astrid Astra Indricane and video artist Maria Korporal create installations with the things their third eye, the lens of their cameras, recorded on the road.

Ein drittes Auge zeigt das, was unsere erste und zweite Auge nicht sehen. Die Bilder des dritten Auges überschreiten die Grenzen unseres normalen Sichtfeld, sie lassen uns eine Wirklichkeit entdecken, die zuvor verborgen blieb.
In der Third Eye Factory, Fotografin Astrid Astra Indricane und Videokünstlerin Maria Korporal erstellen Installationen mit den Dingen die ihre dritte Auge, die Linse ihrer Kameras, auf der Straße erfasst.
