Mental Illness

Mental health concerns did not originate in the last one hundred years. They began in the garden when Adam and Eve chose to rebel against God. Throughout history God’s people have struggled to understand the connection between the Fall and mental, physical, and spiritual health. And while the majority of the church has a growing compassion for the mentally ill, she still has an unhealthy view of mental illness. Jesus has compassion for broken people and sovereign control over our broken world.
